BIOMETRIC CARD / PROPOSED, NOT LIVE
A personal touch. A clearer view.
The biometric card is one part of Wecript Secure Pay’s security-first vision: a purpose-built fingerprint check alongside planned app controls. It is not a guarantee against fraud or loss. Issuer, manufacturer, network, card type and final specifications are not confirmed.
Design concept only. Not an issued card, security certification or confirmed product specification.
HOW IT COULD CONNECT / ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY
Your fingerprint is one check. Not the whole payment.
This is a generic on-card matching model, not Wecript’s verified design. Final enrolment, storage, fallback methods and integrations must be specified and approved by the issuer and manufacturer.
01 / Enrol securely
An issuer-approved process would register a fingerprint template on compatible card hardware. The enrolment method is not final; app-only enrolment is not promised.
02 / Touch the card sensor
For a supported in-person payment, place your finger on the card’s built-in sensor. In this model, matching happens on the card—not by sending a fingerprint to the merchant or app.
03 / Terminal sends the transaction
The card and compatible terminal exchange payment data. A successful biometric check does not guarantee payment approval or remove every PIN requirement.
04 / Issuer authorises or declines
The terminal’s acquiring service routes the request through the payment network to the issuer. Balance or credit availability, risk checks, card status and programme rules still apply.
05 / App receives supported updates
Issuer-supported services could provide transaction status and activity to the app. App alerts are not the payment-authorisation channel, and may arrive later.

App controls connect to issuer services
Proposed path: authenticated app request → Wecript service → issuer’s supported interface → card-control status. The app would show confirmation only after the issuer responds. No direct Bluetooth connection or remote fingerprint transfer is assumed.
A phone fingerprint check unlocks the app; it is not the same as touching the card sensor. Online payments, PIN fallback, offline payments and contactless limits follow the issuer’s supported authentication and risk rules. No universal acceptance or PIN-free experience is promised.
Debit, credit or prepaid: different programmes.
Biometric technology can be considered for different purpose-built card programmes. Wecript is exploring options—not offering three approved cards. Existing ordinary cards cannot gain a fingerprint sensor through an app update.
Debit concept
Would link to an eligible partner-bank account. The issuer controls onboarding, balance checks, account terms and card issuance.
Explore the debit concept
Credit concept
Would require an eligible credit issuer, underwriting and separate approval. Limits, interest, fees and repayment terms would be disclosed before application. Founder access is not credit approval.
Explore the credit concept
Prepaid concept
Would require an appropriately authorised prepaid programme. KYC, permitted loading, usage limits and redemption rules would follow that programme’s requirements.

See it. Manage it. Stay informed.
Planned issuer-supported controls include freezing and unfreezing, spending limits, online-payment preferences, activity history and alerts. Availability depends on integration scope. A freeze is not retroactive, alerts may be delayed, and these tools do not guarantee fraud prevention or reimbursement.
Before any enrolment, the final design must explain where biometric templates are stored, who can access them, consent and deletion processes, lost-card handling and accessibility alternatives. The illustrative on-card model is a design goal, not a verified Wecript privacy or security guarantee.
EARLY BOOKING / NOT OPEN YET
Know what you’re reserving before you pay.
The proposed founder range is US$9–US$99 once. No booking or payment is accepted today. Before opening, we must confirm the issuer and card programme, exact benefits, INR total, fees, service period, eligibility, delivery conditions and approved payment provider. Early access will not guarantee card issuance or access to all future features.
Target launch: 1 January 2027, not a guaranteed delivery date. Under the proposed terms, if the card programme has not launched by then, paid early customers may request a refund, processed within 30 working days of the request. Refunds are also available if launch is cancelled. Final request instructions must be published before payment opens.
