02 / A SEPARATE CREDIT DECISION
Security doesn’t replace approval.
An exploratory biometric credit-card concept. Credit would only be available through an eligible issuer after independent assessment.
DESIGN CONCEPT / NOT ISSUED / APPLICATIONS & ORDERS NOT OPEN
Where the money would come from.
A credit purchase would use an issuer-approved credit limit, not a Wecript balance. Billing, interest, repayment obligations and fees would be set by the issuer.
A proposed payment, step by step.
01
Issuer application & assessment
02
Proposed biometric verification
03
Issuer authorisation against the limit
04
Issuer billing & repayment
One companion app. Issuer-led controls.
The app is planned to show card status, supported card controls and transaction alerts through issuer-approved integrations. The card would communicate with the payment terminal; the app would not replace the issuer’s authorisation. A fingerprint check is not a guarantee against fraud or loss.
What must be confirmed first.
No issuer, credit limit, APR, reward rate or fee schedule is confirmed. Founder access would not guarantee approval, preferential underwriting or a credit limit. Never treat a concept preview as an offer of credit.
Sensor hardware, secure enrolment, local template storage, payment-network certification and issuer support remain to be validated. Ordinary cards cannot gain an on-card fingerprint sensor through an app update.
